An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Underground Shift Boss to join a respected mining operation in NSW. We are seeking a motivated leader with strong operational knowledge and a proven commitment to safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead underground production crews to meet daily targets safely and efficiently.
- Conduct shift handovers, pre-starts, risk assessments, and safety meetings.
- Ensure compliance with mining regulations, site standards, and safety procedures.
- Identify and manage operational risks to support continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- NSW Underground Shift Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency (mandatory).
- Previous experience as a Shift Boss or Supervisor in an underground mining environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude towards safety, production, and team development.

Underground Charge-Up Operator / Shotfirer - NSW
We are seeking an experienced and ticketed Charge-Up Operator / Shotfirer to join our underground mining team.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for safe and efficient charging, firing, and blast preparation activities underground. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong operational focus, attention to detail, and commitment to site safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Charge development headings and production stopes to plan and schedule.
- Conduct blast preparation activities including loading, stemming, and tie-ins.
- Manage explosives safely in line with company and legislative requirements.
- Complete all documentation, pre-starts, and blast reports accurately.
- Work closely with the shift boss, mining engineers, and supervisors to deliver safe and timely blasts.
About You:
- Current Shotfirer’s Licence (essential).
- Underground Charge-Up experience.
- Solid understanding of drill and blast practices.
- Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
